Supply for Drift-Tubes

In cooperation with our partner Aurion Anlagentechnik GmbH, BEAPLAS is currently developing a power supply for drift tubes.Several individual voltages between 0 and 1000 volts are required, which are to be controlled with analogue signals. FAIR SIS100 Bunch-Compressor

As a sub-contractor of Aurion Anlagentechnik GmbH, BEAPLAS developed parts for a specialized amplifier. The amplifier is used for beam-manipulation in the new FAIR SIS100 synchrotron.The nominal voltage amplitues of this system are between 1 kV and 40 kV, with a frequency between 310 kHz and 560 kHz. The maximum rise time is 30 µs. As a first step of this procject, BEAPLAS has carried out the system simulation. Afterwards, the electrical design of the power stage, an associated driver and measurement circuits took place at BEAPLAS. Trigger- and Data-Acquisition-Plattform

As a sub-contractor of Aurion Anlagentechnik GmbH, BEAPLAS has developed an electronic plattform tailored to customers requirements.The purpose of this Trigger- and Data-Acquisition-Plattform is the management and hand-over of fast trigger-signals. These triggers are created by the customers system and are transferred over fibre- or coaxial-cables. Simulation of a System with Modelled Data

As a sub-contractor of Aurion Anlagentechnik GmbH, BEAPLAS has simualted a complex system. The goal of this simulation was the extraction of technical parameters and it’s optimization regarding bandwith and amplification.Based on measured data delivered by the customer components of the system were modelled in SPICE. These models were required to work in time- as well as in frequency-domain. Therefore, an equivalent circuit model has been chosen. After the system simulation was created and verified, series of automated calculations with different initial values has been conducted.
